Since Royal Caribbean started sailing out of Cape Liberty or Bayonne as we know it, cruise sailing has become so much easier. You can get dropped off or park your car, check in and you’re on your way to do some serious vacationing. The beauty about this is that you have the opportunity to get on one of Royal’s big ships, the Explorer of the Seas. The features on board are an ice-skating rink, with a wonderful ice show, the Royal Promenade, a rock climbing wall, shows in the main theatre, children’s programs from infants to 17 year olds, casino and wonderful day spas and fitness area. The ship is a destination itself!!!
Royal’s sister, Celebrity Cruise Lines also does a wonderful 7 night to Bermuda on the Summit. They will be bringing in a brand new ship with longer journeys in 2011. While Celebrity is a smaller more intimate ship it provides outstanding service and food. Can’t go wrong here either.
Cruising out of Bayonne you can do from 5 days to Bermuda to multiple days
with multiple islands and you can go year round!!!!
